Robinson Construction Co. has finished building a new Costco warehouse in Prosper, Texas. The company delivered the 156,000-square-foot retail facility to serve the local community.
The project involved more than just erecting the structure. Robinson handled full site development, constructed a fuel station, built extensive parking areas, and completed major improvements outside the property lines.
Infrastructure efforts included demolishing existing roadways, moving utilities, and installing new utility and roadway systems. The firm also enhanced an adjacent highway and installed a new signalized intersection to manage increased vehicle traffic.
The building itself uses a modified pre-engineered metal structure with durable concrete masonry unit walls. Inside, the facility includes a sales floor, pharmacy, food preparation areas, offices, and walk-in freezer and cooler boxes.
Robinson stated that the project demonstrated its capacity to manage large retail developments with complex logistics and public infrastructure coordination while maintaining speed, safety, and quality.
