Alvarez Leads Offensive Surge

Eduard Bazardo entered the game for one and one-third innings, allowing one walk. Carlos Vargas pitched one inning, allowing one hit and two earned runs. Michael Rucker finished the game pitching one inning with one walk and one strikeout.
