Cross country teams from the Prosper and Celina Independent School Districts competed in several meets on Sept. 4, with Rock Hill and Richland capturing team titles in their respective events. These races serve as preparation for district championships and potential UIL state meet spots later in the season.

The girls team recorded 23 points, placing their first five finishers within the top seven of the race. The boys team also took first place with 59 points, led by junior Saatvik Pullela, who finished second overall in 17:26.25.
Rock Hill dominated the Lake Ridge XC Invitational at the Mansfield Sports Complex. The boys team finished first with 26 points, placing five runners inside the top eight. Senior Ryan Gerard led the group with a second-place finish of 16:17.07.
