A student-athlete from Crandall High School was airlifted to a hospital due to an injury sustained during practice, according to Crandall Independent School District (ISD).

The district reported that a helicopter landed near the baseball fields at Crandall High School to transport the injured player for medical care. Crandall ISD expressed concern for the student and their family, requesting that the community respect their privacy during this difficult time.
