Baylor University has unveiled its official depth chart in anticipation of the season opener against Auburn. The chart reveals several expected positions, along with some ongoing competitions that will influence the team's lineup as they head to Atlanta.

One of the notable battles is for the third wide receiver position, where Jadon Porter and Dre'lon Miller are listed as co-starters. Miller, a transfer from Colorado, missed some practice time due to injury but is recognized for his dynamic playmaking ability.

Porter, who had nine receptions for 85 yards and a touchdown last season, has also established himself as a significant contributor, indicating that both players may see the field in varying roles this season.

The offensive line lineup aligns with expectations, particularly following the NCAA ruling against Memphis transfer Yakiri Walker. Koltin Sieracki has moved to center, joining Logan Moore (left tackle), Nate Kibble (left guard), Asher Hale (right guard), and Kaden Sieracki (right tackle) in the starting lineup.

Kaden Sieracki is the only returning full-time starter, while the other three players are newcomers who have integrated into the lineup.

Defensively, the depth chart highlights competition at nose tackle and strong safety. Hosea Wheeler, a transfer from Indiana, is in a co-starter position with Marshall transfer Jamaal Whyce Jr. at nose tackle. Similarly, Jacob Redding is in a co-starter situation with Devin Turner at strong safety.

Both Wheeler and Redding are expected to play significant roles this season, although neither has been firmly established as a starter.

At tight end, Matthew Klopfenstein has secured the starting role over Tony Livingston, a transfer from Florida. Klopfenstein, who caught eight passes for 73 yards and a touchdown last season, will be stepping into a more prominent position as he enters his fourth year with the team. Livingston is anticipated to contribute as well, but his exact role remains to be seen.

The depth chart reflects Baylor's strategic decisions as they prepare for their matchup against Auburn, with several key positions still being contested as the season begins.
