Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott did not take any snaps during the team's three-game preseason schedule this year.

Since joining the Cowboys in 2020, Prescott has had wide receiver CeeDee Lamb as a key target, but the addition of George Pickens in the 2025 offseason has further strengthened his receiving options. Last season, Prescott achieved the second-highest passing yard total of his career, amassing 4,552 yards and throwing 30 touchdown passes, marking the fourth time he reached that milestone in his career.

With 600 pass attempts last season, the Cowboys may seek to reduce that number for a more balanced offensive approach. Additionally, a new defensive scheme under coordinator Christian Parker could allow Prescott and the offense to avoid being in catch-up situations as frequently.

With a solid receiving duo at his disposal, Prescott has the potential to surpass 4,000 passing yards again in the upcoming 2026 season.
