The Dallas Cowboys will be without four defensive players when they meet the Baltimore Ravens in Brazil during Week 3 of the NFL season. Cornerback Cobie Durant, safeties Malik Hooker and P.J. Locke, and linebacker DeMarvion Overshown have been ruled out.

All four players missed Dallas practices on Wednesday and Thursday and will not make the trip to Rio de Janeiro. The game is scheduled for Sunday at Maracanã Stadium, with kickoff set for 3:25 p.m. CT. Dallas is designated as the home team.

The absences affect a secondary that has already lost three players who have contributed this season. Durant started the Cowboys’ first two games and logged 87 defensive snaps before sustaining a hamstring injury in the win over Washington. He joined Dallas this offseason after four seasons with the Rams and had been expected to miss multiple weeks.

Hooker suffered a fractured forearm in the season opener against the New York Giants. He started that game but played 12 snaps before leaving. Locke replaced Hooker in the starting lineup against Washington, taking part in 31 defensive snaps before suffering a torn plantar fascia in his foot.

Overshown will miss his second straight game because of a hamstring strain sustained against the Giants. He started the opener and made seven tackles before exiting. Jaishawn Barham started in his place against Washington and is expected to have an increased role against Baltimore, while second-year cornerback Shavon Revel Jr. is also expected to see more action with Durant unavailable.

Dallas and Baltimore are each 1-1 entering the international game. The information was reported by sports.yahoo.com.
