Five road trips, four home games comprise SMU's 2027 ACC slate

SMU will begin its 2027 football season against Oklahoma at AT&T Stadium before playing a nine-game ACC schedule. Four conference opponents, Clemson, NC State, Georgia Tech and Stanford, are set to visit the Mustangs.

SMU's league road schedule includes Cal, Virginia, Boston College, Pittsburgh and Duke. The slate will be the second played under the ACC's current scheduling format, which calls for nine conference games and at least 10 matchups against Power Four opponents each season. The ACC said dates and the complete 2027 schedule are expected in late January.

Under coach Rhett Lashlee, SMU is 15-2 in ACC competition and has not been defeated in conference play at Gerald J. Ford Stadium. That mark leads all ACC programs over the period. The Mustangs are also scheduled to play at No. 23 Louisville this week. The schedule details were reported by smumustangs.com.
