The Dallas Cowboys have added linebackers Curtis Robinson and Justin Barron to the active roster for their Week 2 home game against the Washington Commanders. Both players were elevated from the practice squad.

The roster moves come as DeMarvion Overshown deals with a hamstring injury. The Cowboys have not provided a timeline for his return. Robinson and Barron also can assist on special teams, according to the team update cited by Blogging The Boys.

Coach Brian Schottenheimer said rookie linebacker Jaishawn Barham will wear the green-dot helmet while Overshown is unavailable. That designation identifies the player responsible for relaying defensive calls.

Dallas enters the matchup after a 20-28 loss to the New York Giants in Week 1. The NFL also fined three Cowboys players following that game. Javonte Williams was assessed $11,941 for unsportsmanlike conduct involving taunting, while outside linebacker Donovan Ezeiruaku received a $11,941 fine for a facemask penalty. Overshown was fined $9,527 for a late hit on Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart.

Blogging The Boys also identified the Cowboys' linebackers and safeties as areas facing a test against Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels and the Commanders offense. Von Miller, who played for Washington in 2025, made his Dallas debut against New York and logged 11 snaps. Former Cowboys player DeMarcus Ware discussed Miller's potential impact before the Washington game. Further details about Overshown's injury are not yet clear.
