Nico Collins and Ed Ingram are moving closer to returning for Houston's Week 4 matchup with the Dallas Cowboys, Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said Monday. Both players have missed the past two games, and Ryans said the team is hopeful they will be ready for Sunday's contest.

Collins, a Pro Bowl wide receiver and three-time 1,000-yard performer, has been Houston's primary constant in the passing game. Without him, the Texans have had limited production from their outside receivers during the last two games, with Dalton Schultz the main exception.

Xavier Hutchinson led Houston in receiving during that span, making nine catches for 120 yards. Collins had seven receptions for 75 yards and a touchdown in one game against Buffalo.

Ingram's absence has also affected the offensive line. Wyatt Teller has started at right guard, but the Texans have struggled to run the ball, totaling 130 yards and one touchdown over the past two games.

Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney remains listed as week-to-week with a knee injury after missing the last two games. Houston recorded five sacks and forced two fumbles in its most recent game despite its reduced depth on the edge. The Texans and Cowboys are scheduled to begin at noon at Reliant Stadium.
