Jonathan Sirois marked his 100th MLS regular-season appearance with a shutout. The FC Dallas goalkeeper made three saves Saturday night at Toyota Stadium as the Hoops beat LAFC 1-0, climbed into second in the Western Conference and extended an unbeaten run to six matches.
FC Dallas said Sirois earned his second shutout for the club and that Dallas recorded back-to-back clean sheets for the first time since 2024. The club acquired him from CF Montréal on Feb. 2, 2026; he has seven wins in 11 appearances this season. Dallas moved to 13-6-8 and 47 points. LAFC fell to 11-9-8 and 41.
Centurion night, one-goal margin
Osaze Urhoghide scored the game's only goal, his second of the season, off a Joaquín Valiente corner. Valiente's 13th assist of the year improved Dallas to 9-0-1 when he records an assist, the club reported. Sirois's three saves protected that slender lead through the final whistle against a LAFC attack that entered the night still in the Western Conference mix.
A 1-0 home win against LAFC is a goalkeeper's night as much as a scorer's. Sirois did not need a spectacular highlight reel; he needed the century appearance to end with a clean sheet, and it did. The back-to-back shutouts were the club's first such streak since 2024 - a defensive marker that paired with Urhoghide's set-piece finish.
Depth notes around the shutout
Forward Daniel Job made his MLS debut in the 80th minute, the 11th debutant for Dallas this season, after half a season at Kongsvinger where he had eight goals and nine assists in 20 appearances, the club said.
