Prosper’s Oct. 10 band regional: local performance times and ticket details

Rock Hill, Walnut Grove and Prosper are among 28 bands scheduled at Children’s Health Stadium. Here are their performance times and ticket options.

Rock Hill, Walnut Grove and Prosper high schools have performance slots throughout the day Saturday, Oct. 10, when the Bands of America North Texas Regional Championship comes to Prosper ISD Children’s Health Stadium.

The organizer’s Oct. 5 schedule lists 28 schools at the Prosper, Texas, venue. For hometown spectators, Rock Hill performs at 8:30 a.m., Walnut Grove at 1:15 p.m. and Prosper at 2:45 p.m. All times are Central.

Preliminary performances begin at 7:45 a.m. with Lake Dallas and end with Marcus at 4 p.m. The 12 bands with the best preliminary scores advance to the evening finals, giving fans a second chance to see the day’s leading performances.

Plan your visit

The stadium is at 2000 Stadium Drive. Organizer-listed admission is $27 for preliminaries, $27 for finals or $44 for a day pass, with Afton ticketing fees added at checkout. Tickets are digital, and purchases require a credit or debit card. The organizer encourages buying online before arriving.

Spectators must leave the stadium between sessions; concessions also close during that break. Outside food and drinks are not permitted inside.

Bring a camera only for still photographs from general-admission seats. The event does not allow audio or video recording, and spectators may not use tripods, bipods or monopods.
