Keller Central hosts Southlake Carroll on Thursday. The Eagles have a historical disadvantage against the Panthers, holding a 0-14 all-time record and being outscored 719-123 in previous meetings. However, Keller Central enters this game with a 3-0 record, while Carroll is 1-2.
The Eagles have outscored their opponents 126-49 this season, driven by a rushing attack that has produced 605 yards and 11 touchdowns from Spencer Martin and Isaiah Taylor. Carroll, an eight-time state champion, has relied on its passing game this year, with Hudson Tomcheck throwing for 680 yards and six touchdowns.
Mansfield Lake Ridge travels to face Waxahachie on Friday. The Tigers are 2-1, while their opponents are 3-0 and ranked No. 1 in the state and No. 35 in the nation. Lake Ridge aims to slow down Waxahachie’s Jerry Meyer III, who has 586 passing yards, and running back Taylen Strange, who has rushed for 442 yards and eight touchdowns.

Prosper hosts Allen on Thursday in a matchup that could determine the District 6-6A title. The Mustangs are 3-0 and ranked No. 10 in the nation, having outscored their first three opponents by a combined 132-48. Prosper is also 3-0 and has won three of its last five meetings with Allen.
