Public filings indicate that Mountain Mike's Pizza intends to open a new restaurant in Prosper. The planned location is situated at 220 W. Frontier Parkway, Suite 100. This addition marks the latest step in the California-based chain's expansion across Collin County.
What Now Dallas contacted Hector Haget, the franchise owner who operates existing Mountain Mike's locations in Celina and Frisco, to seek details about the Prosper project. Haget did not respond to inquiries before the article was published.
Founded in California in 1978, the brand is recognized for its crispy, curly pepperoni and large pizzas made with dough prepared fresh daily. The menu also includes wings, salads, sandwiches, and desserts. Stores typically feature a family-friendly environment with arcade games and large televisions.
The chain first entered the Texas market in Lewisville in late 2022. CEO Jim Metevier has stated that Texas is expected to become the brand's second-largest state. Three multi-unit development deals are currently in place statewide to support this growth.
