Council Action on Appeals

The Prosper Town Council will consider directing staff to submit a written notice of appeals to the Development Services Department.

The appeal addresses actions taken by the Planning and Zoning Commission on preliminary site plans and site plans.

Staff will handle the submission on behalf of the Town Council.

Zoning Ordinance Provisions

The proposed appeal relies on Chapter 4, Section 1.5(C)(7) and 1.6(B)(7) of the Town’s Zoning Ordinance.

These sections outline the procedural requirements for filing appeals regarding commission decisions.

The council will evaluate whether to proceed with the formal notice based on these regulatory guidelines.

Public Comment Procedures

Members of the public may address the council on any topic during the meeting.

Speakers must complete a Public Comment Request Form and present it to the Town Secretary before the meeting begins.

Individual comments are limited to three minutes, while groups yielding time may appoint one speaker for up to 15 minutes.
