As the Dallas Cowboys gear up for Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season, they are entering with a largely healthy roster. The team has managed to avoid significant injuries during the offseason, which they hope will continue throughout the season.
However, there are two players currently dealing with injuries who could impact the team's performance. Defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard has been sidelined due to an abs/groin injury but was seen participating in rehab work recently. While he has not been placed on injured reserve, it remains uncertain if he will be ready for the season opener.
Ajani Cornelius, who has also missed practice recently, was spotted doing rehab work and may be available for Week 1 depending on his progress. Cornelius has shown promise during training camp, earning a reserve spot on the roster.
Additionally, linebacker Marist Liufau and cornerback Devin Moore have been placed on injured reserve but are designated to return after a mandatory four-week absence. Liufau is recovering from a fractured forearm that required surgery, while Moore is dealing with a hip injury after previously missing time due to a groin issue. Given Moore's injury history, his potential contributions this season remain uncertain.
