Allen Eagles defeat Prosper Eagles 51-21 in season opener

The Allen Eagles secured a 51-21 victory over the previously unbeaten Prosper Eagles at Children’s Health Stadium during the opening week of North Texas high school football.

The Allen Eagles defeated the Prosper Eagles with a score of 51-21 in their high school football matchup at Children’s Health Stadium. The game was broadcast on KDFI 27 (FOX 4+) and the FOX LOCAL app as part of the weekly lineup for North Texas high school football.

Prosper entered the contest with an undefeated record, following wins against Rockwall and North Forney. Allen had previously defeated Duncanville, DeSoto, and Southlake earlier in the season.

The broadcast featured play-by-play announcer Doug Anderson and analyst LaDarrin McLane, who are in their 21st consecutive season together. Sideline reporter Chris Mycoskie returned for his seventh year to cover the games.

FOX 4+ airs high school football primarily on Thursday nights at 7 p.m. Viewers can access the channel via Spectrum/Frontier Channel 7, DirecTV/DISH Channel 27, antenna 27.1 and 4.2, YouTube TV, or Fubo. The FOX LOCAL app is available for free on Roku, Amazon FireTV, Apple TV, Google Android TV, Vizio, iPhone, and Android devices.

Upcoming matchups on the FOX 4+ schedule include Frisco Wakeland at Denton Guyer and Fort Worth Benbrook against Fort Worth Eastern Hills. Games will continue through October and November, with additional matchups to be determined.

Details regarding future schedules beyond the announced games are not yet clear.
