Workers on the Celina Downtown Center project have reached several structural milestones, indicating steady progress on the development. The facility is located in Celina, which sits approximately 6 miles north of Prosper.
A key development involves the start of mass timber installation within the building's atrium. This phase marks a notable step in the vertical construction efforts. Simultaneously, crews are installing structural steel at the roof level, working across multiple sections of the site to advance the framework.
Exterior work remains focused on enclosing the structure. Teams are applying façade sheathing and waterproofing materials to protect the building from weather exposure. Efforts to complete the elevator shaft and construct concrete masonry unit walls are nearing their conclusion.
Inside the building, preparations for future interior phases are underway. Rough-in activities for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are continuing on the second and third levels. These underfloor installations are essential for supporting subsequent construction stages.
