Washington Nationals starter Cade Cavalli delivered a standout outing, striking out 11 batters over six innings to help his team shut out the Texas Rangers 6-0. The Nationals scored three runs in the third inning and added three more in the seventh to secure the victory. The Rangers were held scoreless throughout the contest, falling to a 62-65 record while the Nationals improved to 61-67.
