Project Tomahawk Is Back: Prosper's P&Z Takes Up the Data Center Tuesday

The data center proposal known as Project Tomahawk goes before Prosper's Planning & Zoning Commission on Tuesday, Aug. 18.

The case is docketed as ZONE-26-0007, with Dallas-based White Rose Partners as the applicant, according to reporting on the proposal. The staff report and application packet are expected to post roughly three business days before the hearing, which puts them in public view in the days just ahead of Tuesday's meeting.

The staff report is where the project's specifics become public record: the site plan, the zoning request's terms, staff's recommendation and any conditions attached to it. For a data center proposal, the details residents typically look for first are power and water demands, noise and screening commitments, and what the site's buildout schedule looks like.
