Realtor.com counted 664 homes for sale in Prosper as of August 2026, while Zillow reported 116 new listings during its latest monthly period. Zillow put the average home value at $776,414, down 6.0% over the past year. Realtor.com listed the median asking price at $801,250 as of August 2026.

Redfin's May 2026 market page reported 206 homes sold, compared with 196 a year earlier. Redfin's median sale price was $869,480, down 3.4% from a year earlier, and average days on market were 60 days, compared with 63 days last year.

Realtor.com listed the median list price at $801,250 as of August 2026. Redfin's median sale price was $869,480 in May 2026. Zillow's average home value was $776,414. Zillow said homes went to pending in around 45 days as of June 30, 2026. Realtor.com reported average days on market at 58 days in August 2026.

Freddie Mac's Primary Mortgage Market Survey put the average 30-year fixed-rate mortgage at 6.76% as of September 10, 2026, up from 6.71% a week earlier and up from 6.35% a year earlier.

What changed from last year

Redfin's year-over-year sales count increased from 196 to 206. Realtor.com average days on market rose from about 51 days to 58 days. Redfin's median sale price was down 3.4% from a year earlier.

Realtor.com's August 2026 inventory figure and Redfin's May 2026 sold-home figure measure different parts of the market: active supply versus closed transactions. This report keeps those figures separate because they do not describe the same set of homes.
